Förenade tjej-, trans- och ungdomsjourer is a feminist organization and a platform for cooperation between support centers for youth in Sweden. The support centers include tjejjourer (for girls and young women), transjourer (for transgender youth) and ungdomsjourer (for youth of all genders). The organization was formed in 2017, and since then we have been working with education, advocacy and exchanges of experience, as well as trying to create stability and conditions for long-term cooperation between the centers. Any support center working with children, youth and/or young adults can become a member of Förenade tjej-, trans- och ungdomsjourer. The organization also works for transparency and cooperation between all youth support centers, not just the member organizations.
Our aim is to make it easier for youth support centers to share information, knowledge and experiences with each other. Some of the most important ways in which we do that is arranging lectures, seminars, meetings and workshops. We also send out news letters, create platforms for sharing material between the centers, and provide our member organizations with a chat tool for support conversations.
Since december 2020 we run the website ungasjourer.se. On ungasjourer.se we collect contact information to all youth support centers in Sweden. The purpose of the website is to make it as easy as possible for young people in need of support to find a center that suit their needs. The visitor can also read a number of texts directly on the website, about subjects such as sex, violence and mental illness.
